This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Report to the Senior Director of Credentialing and Revenue Cycle.
• Oversee daily performance and management of revenue cycle services, focusing on accounts receivable and follow-up tasks.
• Support the standardization and enhancement of internal revenue cycle management processes.
• Take ownership of assigned revenue outcomes and key performance indicators as determined by leadership.
• Develop standard operating procedures in collaboration with leadership.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality enhancement activities.
• Manage the legacy accounts receivable run-down for acquired practices, including billing, A/R follow-up, insurance and patient refunds, as well as the collection of patient balances.
• Stay informed about payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
• Monitor trends in payer rejections and denials, assigning prompt follow-up work.
• Report trends and corrective action plans to leadership.
• Lead team meetings as assigned.
• Engage in audits alongside the finance/accounting team.
• Aid in the processes related to bad debt collection.
• Provide assistance and supervision for patient billing inquiries.
• Investigate returned patient mail, update addresses, and resend statements.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management within a large healthcare organization.
• Background in patient access, registration, billing, accounts receivable/follow-up, and collections.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, start-up, results-driven environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and possess advanced analytical skills.
• Experience in developing revenue-cycle outcome-driven metrics.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work within a team environment.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
