This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Reach out to customers through phone, email, and written correspondence to collect overdue payments.
• Consistently follow up on delinquent accounts to minimize aging balances and address payment discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, ensuring that accounts remain accurate and current.
• Process customer payments and uphold precise financial records.
• Handle credit card transactions, issue credits, and make necessary account adjustments.
• Negotiate payment plans when suitable to aid collections efforts.
• Respond to incoming calls, provide answers to inquiries, and direct questions as needed.
• Conduct data entry and maintain comprehensive account documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Billing, and Customer Service to resolve account-related issues.
• Facilitate the ongoing enhancement of collections processes and workflows.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, or a comparable role.
• Proficient in billing and invoicing using QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, as well as billing and collections best practices.
• Demonstrated capability to track down outstanding payments, investigate issues, and effectively resolve discrepancies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and financial systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining a professional, persistent, and client-focused demeanor.
• Strong organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive financial information.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing high-volume collections or aging portfolios.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with US-based clients and a strong understanding of US business practices and communication standards.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote setting.
• Availability to work during US Pacific Time (PST) hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
