Accounts Receivable Clerk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Process and oversee accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and promptness.

• Reach out to clients regarding overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods.

• Accurately record and maintain collection activities along with customer account updates in the organization's ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, invoice-related issues, and customer inquiries.

• Prepare and send reminders, statements, and payment notifications to clients.

• Generate and assess aging reports to prioritize collection efforts effectively.

• Assist in the implementation of systems and procedures aimed at optimizing accounts receivable workflows.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to address customer issues and enhance payment processes.

• Provide support for accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounts receivable position.

• An associate's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Experience with cash applications, reconciling cash receipts, collections, and invoice management.

• Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles related to accounts receivable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial data.
