Accounts Receivable Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Ensure that performance meets or exceeds established service level agreements (SLAs).

• Process refunds for customers efficiently.

• Oversee the internal help desk and deliver outstanding service to requesters.

• Conduct due diligence prior to seeking assistance.

• Enter relevant payment information into the internal system.

• Address all inquiries or requests promptly.

• Recognize short payments and escalate them to the Collector for evaluation and resolution.

• Conduct research and resolve unidentified and/or unapplied cash by reaching out to internal stakeholders and/or customers via phone or mail.

• Create inter-company journal entries, complete necessary applications, and reconcile cash applied with cash received.

• Manage customer communications and issues from the initial point of contact until resolution.

• Enhance the organization's and department's reputation by taking ownership of both new and existing requests, consistently seeking opportunities to add value.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and managers to pinpoint areas for improvement, aiming for optimized results across all teams.

• Maintain the unapplied cash position at a minimal level while promptly resolving synchronization issues between internal systems.

• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-2+ years of experience in finance/accounting focusing on Accounts Receivable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Experience with NetSuite and/or HighRadius is a plus.
