Accounts Receivable Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather client receivables in alignment with contractual agreements

• Evaluate, manage, and address disputes

• Analyze Clinical Trial revenue and expenses

• Assess study accounts receivable aging, patient accounts, pass-through invoices, study finance trackers, patient trackers, and contracts

• Collaborate with departments and sponsors to validate charges and collect payments

• Monitor assigned accounts for anomalies, non-payments, and delayed payments

• Communicate with Sponsors/CROs via phone regarding outstanding or open invoices

• Investigate and resolve disputes involving sponsors, patients, and customers

• Maintain professional relationships with Sponsors/CROs as the main contact for receivables

• Reconcile financial study data with data from Sponsors/CROs

• Review and discuss contracts to address payment or dispute issues

• Examine medical procedure invoices against contracts to establish reimbursement eligibility

• Identify and report trends that adversely affect payments or workflows

• Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, and Contracting to clarify billing inquiries

• Support Finance and Budget & Contracts departments with identified projects and tasks

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education

• Over 1 year of experience in reading and understanding complex documents and recognizing financial implications

• Clinical Research experience is highly favored

• Familiarity with clinical financial systems and EMRs

• Capability to review and interpret contracts

• Proficiency in analyzing complex data and assessing collectability of receivables
