This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the operations of customer and partner billing, encompassing invoice creation, distribution, payment processing, collections support, and accounts receivable aging analysis.
• Prepare and uphold account reconciliations for Revenue and AR-related accounts while investigating discrepancies as necessary.
• Aid in month-end closing tasks, which include journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue support, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address billing inquiries and enhance the customer billing experience.
• Support external audit requests by providing documentation linked to revenue, billing, and AR processes.
• Assist in the development, documentation, and enhancement of billing and AR processes along with internal controls.
• Engage in process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and various ad hoc finance projects.
• Maintain precise financial records and ensure adherence to company policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented remote work atmosphere.
• Over 2 years of experience in AR-related accounting, billing, or general accounting, ideally in SaaS or rapidly growing technology settings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (CPA or CPA-track is advantageous).
• Strong grasp of US GAAP principles and general ledger accounting entries; familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar); proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and organized with a robust sense of accountability.
• Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities can change. Capable of working independently in a remote setting while effectively collaborating across teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a customer-service approach.
