This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Review, validate, and process vendor invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors by addressing inquiries and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation to guarantee accuracy.
• Execute vendor payments utilizing checks, electronic transfers, ACH, and other authorized payment methods.
• Generate accounts payable reports, including outstanding balances, aging reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor company expenditures and assess payment terms to enhance cash flow and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Investigate and resolve accounts payable challenges, such as disputes, late payments, and missing documentation.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and ensure the vendor database is up to date.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and other accounting-related tasks as required.
• Carry out additional accounts payable and administrative duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Accounting, or a related accounting field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work overnight/graveyard shifts aligned with Philippine time or during US operating hours.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Full Circle ERP, Laserfiche, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable processes, account reconciliation, and accounting principles.
• Capability to maintain precise financial records while ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
