This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the complete accounts payable process, encompassing invoice receipt, coding, approval routing, entry, and payment preparation.
• Verify invoices for precision, GST treatment, ABN details, purchase order alignment, and adherence to approval policies.
• Organize supplier payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
• Maintain supplier records and address supplier inquiries.
• Monitor operating expenditures, staff expenses, corporate card transactions, reimbursements, and petty cash.
• Assist with month-end closing through accruals, prepayments, expense allocations, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Manage internal payroll processing using Xero and keep employee payroll records up to date.
• Prepare and submit Single Touch Payroll reporting via Xero.
• Calculate and manage PAYG withholding, superannuation, payroll liabilities, and employee entitlements.
• Reconcile payroll transactions and associated general ledger accounts.
• Address payroll inquiries confidentially.
• Ensure accurate financial and payroll records are maintained in Xero.
• Assist with financial reporting, expenditure analysis, cash flow planning, and cost center reporting.
• Enhance accounts payable, expense, and payroll processes, controls, approval workflows, and reporting accuracy.
• Uphold internal controls over supplier payments, payroll data, employee records, and sensitive financial information.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, HR, managers, suppliers, and external advisers.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance Operations, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing comprehensive Accounts Payable processes.
• Strong knowledge of invoices, supplier reconciliations, expenses, payments, and month-end procedures.
• Familiarity with payroll administration, preferably using Xero.
• Awareness of Australian payroll regulations, including STP, PAYG, superannuation, and employee entitlements.
• Experience with Xero is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Highly organized with strong time-management and follow-through abilities.
• Comfortable working with financial data, reconciliations, and reporting tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on process improvement.
• Effective communication skills and confidence when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage confidential financial and employee information discreetly.
