Accounts Payable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate Accounts Payable trends (aging, early-payment discounts, late fees)

• Develop dashboards and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Identify inefficiencies in processes and enhance them

• Assist with audits by providing relevant data

• Generate reports and extract data insights

• Sample Metrics: AP aging dashboard, Days Payable Outstanding (DPO), utilization of early payment discounts, vendor performance metrics/KPIs, approval cycle durations, and SLA compliance (invoice-to-pay times)

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 3+ years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounting

• Executing the daily transactional tasks assigned to them

• Complying with established processes and controls

• Following the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Fostering strong internal and external relationships

• Assisting with quality assurance efforts

• Managing exceptions and responding to frequently asked questions (FAQs)

• Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle & SAP) is preferred.
