Accounts Payable Representative

📋 Description

• Supervise the processing of invoices and payments.

• Manage relationships with vendors and maintain an updated vendor database.

• Prepare relevant accounts payable reports.

• Monitor and address emails in designated shared inboxes.

• Review and verify sample invoices.

• Check and reconcile vendor statements.

• Communicate with vendors regarding the status of payments.

• Investigate and resolve unidentified invoices.

• Address vendor payment concerns.

• Input adjustments for marketing funds and commissions.

• Contact vendors to clear outstanding checks.

• Perform monthly accrual for invoices not processed by the end of the month.

• Recruit vendors for ACH payments.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 6-12 months of experience in Accounts Payable and/or General Accounting, or an equivalent background.

• Strong verbal, written, and English communication abilities.

• Willingness to work overnight or graveyard shifts aligned with Philippine time or within US business hours.

• Excellent typing skills (40 WPM) and proficient in ten-key data entry (8,000 KPM).

• Solid working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or other relevant tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and account reconciliation processes.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is advantageous but not mandatory.
