This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Evaluate supplier data through various software tools to pinpoint and address statement and unvouchered receipt issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers, Supply Chain Management, and Distribution Centers to track, document, resolve, and escalate discrepancies in accounts.
• Conduct conference calls and work alongside supplier partners to tackle issues and promote ongoing process enhancements.
• Investigate and rectify payment discrepancies promptly and in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to reconcile accounts and inform leadership of any potential financial risks.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Assist Accounts Payable and accounting operations while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to guarantee timely and precise financial processes.
• An associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but not mandatory.
• At least two years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting field, particularly in issue resolution, is preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to juggle multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
