This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Handle and record electronic payments into the company's bank accounts.
• Execute daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Generate and distribute client invoices.
• Process invoices from suppliers and creditors.
• Reconcile accounts payable and prepare payments.
• Manage creditor payments and upload payment files to banking platforms.
• Oversee payroll processing, including tax and superannuation reporting.
• Prepare and post monthly accrual journals.
• Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss reports.
• Prepare, lodge, and process monthly and quarterly BAS returns.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting, payroll, and taxation regulations.
• Provide general administrative and accounting support as needed.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience.
• Prior experience in an Australian business or accounting firm is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in MYOB and/or Xero.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and compliance requirements.
• Experience in preparing and lodging BAS returns.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, professional, and highly detail-oriented.
