Accounting Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Supervising daily accounting functions

• Managing activities related to the general ledger, financial reconciliations, as well as accounts payable and receivable

• Collaborating with the Portfolio team for income tax schedules and compliance documentation

• Overseeing billing and invoicing operations, ensuring precision and punctuality

• Conducting month-end and year-end financial closures while guaranteeing accurate reporting

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a comparable position

• Proficient in Great Plains, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite, and payment systems

• Robust understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting

• Experience in managing accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and tax submissions

• Capability to handle various financial processes with precision and efficiency

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
