Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Accurately and promptly create and issue customer invoices.

• Collaborate with sales and project management teams regarding invoicing queries and timelines.

• Address customer questions concerning invoices and payments, seeking help from other departments when needed.

• Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Record revenue entries and ensure appropriate revenue recognition in line with GAAP standards.

• Work together with the Accounting team to resolve discrepancies and enhance processes.

• Provide support for ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Director of Accounting and Corporate Controller.

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• CPA certification is preferred.

• Prior experience in customer invoicing is required.

• Strong comprehension of fundamental accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory.

• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
