This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take charge of the global consolidation process, which includes intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and reporting for multiple entities in NetSuite across all international locations.
• Supervise and mentor a Senior Accountant, offering support on daily accounting functions, technical accounting inquiries, and professional growth.
• Manage the monthly financial closing process for the United States and Canada, ensuring thorough reviews of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Evaluate and authorize account reconciliations in FloQast.
• Conduct monthly flux analysis across global entities, pinpointing and elucidating significant fluctuations in account balances and headcount.
• Collaborate with Legal, People, and various business partners to harmonize accounting policies and processes across international entities.
• Document and enhance internal controls across cash, prepaid, fixed asset, and other general ledger cycles on a global scale.
• Work with IT, Tax, Revenue, and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement systems, and guarantee accurate financial records.
• Team up with FP&A to ensure global expenses are accurately recorded and allocated to the appropriate cost centers and entities.
• Propel process automation and improvement initiatives to maintain scalable, efficient, and audit-ready global accounting processes.
• Assist in SOX compliance and liaise with external auditors regarding US and international audit requirements.
• Collaborate with the Tax team on transfer pricing general ledger support and other international tax accounting issues.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, which includes public accounting and/or a corporate finance department within a multinational organization.
• Previous experience in managing, mentoring, or reviewing the work of accounting staff.
• Practical experience with global consolidations, multi-currency accounting, and intercompany eliminations.
• Proficient in Excel, including advanced features such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Gemini or Claude, with the capability to apply them to essential accounting tasks.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement new systems and create associated process documentation.
• Background in preparing for and supporting SOX and external audits, including for international entities.
• Experience in preparing and interpreting flux analysis across various entities.
• Proven ability to adapt swiftly to changes in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and collaborative skills.
• Experience in a SaaS company is preferred.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with FloQast, Google Suite, Excel, and AI platforms is preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials are preferred.
