• Oversee multiple accounts with support from a dedicated team.
• Ensure that all team members assigned to accounts receive adequate support and that their work is monitored for both quality and timeliness.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Controller to evaluate the accounting and staffing requirements of clients.
• Execute month-end accrual accounting entries, finalize the books, and participate in client meetings as needed.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team assigned to clients, inspiring them to deliver outstanding service.
• Provide timely coaching and conduct performance evaluations to facilitate professional growth among staff.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, assisting team members in skill enhancement and career progression.
• Deliver real-time, constructive feedback to team members in a professional manner.
• Complete comprehensive file closures for staff who have not been trained on the closing process.
• Supervise and ensure the quality of all files managed by team members.
• Engage in the implementation of new processes or technologies.
• Assist with preliminary and final reviews of 1099 forms as necessary.
• Undertake additional responsibilities or tasks as directed by management or as required to support team and client needs.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience within the $5M to $25M range.
• At least one year of experience in a client services environment or a related field.
• Capability to coach employees and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Exhibits emotional intelligence in managing relationships with others and clients.
• Ability to adjust to various personalities and management styles.
• Strong analytical abilities and project management skills.
• Proven experience with financial systems and data query tools.
• Self-motivated, demonstrating confidence in one's capabilities and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, multi-client dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Flexible and rapidly adapts to a growing company environment.
• Strong focus on detail and accuracy.

• High level of computer proficiency, including extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
• Enjoys working in a remote setting, including the use of Zoom for meetings.
