Accounting Associate, Billing & Revenue

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete invoicing process across subsidiaries in multiple currencies.

• Collaborate with the Senior Revenue Accountant, Sales Operations, and other relevant parties to address data inconsistencies in Sales Orders.

• Coordinate billing for milestones, contingencies, and professional services with internal stakeholders.

• Oversee the sales tax procedures, documenting exemptions and reconciling amounts invoiced versus filed.

• Record client payments on a daily basis in NetSuite.

• Take charge of client collections across the entire enterprise.

• Monitor the Accounts Receivable inbox and address client inquiries related to invoicing and payments.

• Support the Senior Revenue Accountant with analytics concerning SaaS revenue and deferred revenue.

• Handle revenue-related journal entries and assist with month-end general ledger reconciliations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting position, ideally within a SaaS environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Practical experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is advantageous.

• Must possess legal eligibility to work in the United States.
