Online Adjunct Professor – Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Prepare the assigned courses in Blackboard, ensuring all required elements are completed by the specified deadline.

• Facilitate discussions, grade student assignments, check emails, engage in personalized retention efforts, reach out to support student success, and respond to student inquiries.

• Address all forms of outreach (email, text, calls, etc.) from students, supervisors, and colleagues within 48 hours.

• lead discussions with meaningful, high-quality contributions, employ higher-order questioning, and provide supplemental resources, ensuring a minimum of three days of participation in discussions each week.

• Update the grade book weekly by Thursday at 11:59 pm ET for Weeks 1-6 and by 9 am ET Thursday following the last day of class for Weeks 7 and 7.5.

⛳️ Requirements

• A master’s degree in Accounting.

• A master’s degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, MS Management) accompanied by a bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

• A master’s degree in any field along with a valid CPA license.

• A minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role or a position involving accounting functions.

• At least one year of teaching experience.

• Familiarity with a Learning Management System (LMS).
