This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Deliver outstanding accounting and operational services to our clients.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of professional accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Assist in the client onboarding process for all assigned engagements following established protocols.
• Implement relevant processes related to accounts payable and receivable management, record bookkeeping entries, close the books monthly, and prepare financial reports and analyses.
• Partner with your manager and fellow Associates to ensure client satisfaction through prompt and effective communication.
• Oversee daily client relationships while adhering to established processes and budgetary limits.
• Identify and suggest to your manager opportunities where Supporting Strategies can offer additional services or tools to enhance client value and efficiency.
• Engage in regular team meetings and one-on-one video check-ins to ensure alignment for success.
• Show confidence in learning and adopting new technologies to address client challenges.
• Welcome coaching and feedback from your manager and implement necessary changes to achieve team and client objectives.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is required.
• At least 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end closing, and financial reporting and analysis).
• A minimum of 1 year of transactional accounting experience with QuickBooks or NetSuite.
• Experience in a multi-client setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability and willingness to work 25-30 hours per week during business hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST, CST, MST, or PST).
• Managed daily client relationships while operating within established processes and budgetary constraints.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and personal satisfaction in delighting clients and contributing to business success.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality when handling client information.
