
Accountant – Manufacturing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform daily accounting tasks for a range of manufacturing clients, working closely with the Controller and CFO.
• Maintain cost accounting frameworks, which include standard costs, BOMs, and overhead allocation.
• Monitor and reconcile raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
• Execute monthly inventory reconciliations and support inventory accounts through well-documented processes.
• Prepare and evaluate COGS analysis and gross margin reports by product line.
• Oversee accounts receivable and assist in collection efforts for outstanding invoices.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Make month-end closing entries with appropriate inventory and cost documentation.
• Track material cost variances and labor efficiency variances, communicating findings proactively to the Controller and CFO.
• Process payroll with considerations specific to manufacturing, such as shift differentials.
• Maintain strong internal controls across client accounts.
• Utilize existing processes and tools, including code red alerts, to proactively identify and mitigate fraud in all client accounting processes.
• Achieve or surpass billable hours targets while ensuring service excellence.
• Fulfill internal responsibilities such as time tracking, capacity planning, and quarterly initiatives.
• Engage in All In One Accounting's Brand Ambassador program.
• Adhere to security practices to effectively safeguard client assets.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of accounting experience with substantial exposure to the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in a multi-client or Client Accounting Services (CAS) setting is highly preferred.
• Practical experience with cost accounting, inventory valuation, and COGS analysis.
• Knowledge of standard costing, BOM structures, and overhead allocation techniques.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or ERP accounting systems, such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven capability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
• Experience with internal controls and fraud prevention strategies.
