Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, including entering supplier invoices and generating sales invoices.

• Reviewing and reconciling statistics related to invoices.

• Recording and reconciling payments across various platforms, including banking, other payment service providers, e-wallets, and cryptocurrency transactions.

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Managing and reporting in accordance with IFRS standards.

• Supporting VAT and other tax-related reporting tasks.

• Aiding in both internal and external audit processes.

• Assisting with month-end closing activities.

• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A-level qualification in accounting along with several years of experience in comprehensive accounting roles.

• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting within the iGaming, affiliation, or cryptocurrency sectors (minimum of 2 years).

• Proven track record of effectively managing the requirements of high-risk clients.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency payments and transaction reconciliation.

• Enthusiastic about developing automation processes to enhance workflow efficiency.

• Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach.

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in financial reporting in Cyprus.
