This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Promote a product to achieve or surpass sales objectives in community/private practices as well as hospitals and health systems.

• Adhere to all company policies, complete necessary reports, respond to requests, ensure promotional compliance, and efficiently manage AbbVie field assets.

• Identify and uncover customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) and address them with the appropriate AbbVie resources.

• Deliver expert anatomical and procedural information and training, utilizing the correct anatomical terminology to instruct on injection paradigms and postures while emphasizing various anatomical and injection insights and considerations.

• Provide education and clinical/injection training for residents, fellows, and other essential hospital staff.

• Collaborate with other Account Specialists to promote the product for approved indications and conduct individual, department, or group resident/fellow trainings within hospital and health system accounts.

• Effectively leverage AbbVie's sales and data resources to enhance the productivity and growth of AbbVie products while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.

• Relevant industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree must include at least five (5) years of technical experience, with three (3) or more years in sales preferred, along with a high school diploma or GED.

• Capable of managing a complex sale and quickly learning procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information, with the ability to communicate, present, and train to diverse audiences.

• Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred, in both health systems and private practice settings.

• Ability to lift or pull training models weighing between 25–100 lbs. and meet necessary hospital credentialing and vaccination requirements.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test while meeting safe driving standards.

• Willingness to travel sufficiently to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.

• A documented history of strong sales performance, preferably in a clinical, technical, or consultative sales role involving multiple decision-makers, is preferred.
