This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Drive product promotion to achieve or surpass sales targets in community/private practices and hospitals/health systems.
β’ Identify and address customer needs (training, clinical, operational, reimbursement) using appropriate AbbVie resources.
β’ Deliver education and clinical/injection training to residents, fellows, and other key hospital personnel.
β’ Provide expert instruction on anatomical/procedural information and training, utilizing correct anatomical terminology to teach injection techniques while emphasizing various anatomical insights and considerations.
β’ Effectively leverage AbbVie's sales and data resources to boost productivity and growth of AbbVie products while executing the U.S. Marketing Plan.
β’ Collaborate with fellow Account Specialists to promote the product for approved indications and facilitate individual, departmental, or group training sessions for residents and fellows within hospital/health system accounts.
β’ A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.
β’ Candidates with relevant and equivalent industry experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree must possess at least five (5) years of technical experience, with three (3) or more years in sales preferred, alongside a high school diploma/GED.
β’ Experience with Buy & Bill and/or Specialty Pharmacy products is preferred in both health systems and private practices.
β’ Capability to lift and pull training models weighing between 25β100 lbs and meet required hospital credentialing/vaccination standards.
β’ A valid driverβs license is necessary.
β’ Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving criteria.
β’ Willingness to travel adequately to cover the territory, including overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings.
β’ A documented history of strong sales performance, ideally in a clinical/technical/consultative sales role involving multiple decision-makers, is preferred.
β’ Ability to manage complex sales processes, quickly learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information, and effectively communicate/present/train to diverse audiences.
