This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers and foster strong, collaborative relationships.
• Comprehend the essential components of the commercial agreement with each customer.
• Create and execute account plans that fulfill customers' requirements for products, colors, and services.
• Grasp and effectively communicate the value and advantages of Axalta’s products, colors, and services.
• Identify and mobilize the necessary resources to address each customer's specific needs.
• Maintain a systematic communication strategy with a regular schedule of customer calls and accurately document interactions in SalesForce (SFDC).
• Timely follow up on issues and identify as well as recommend process enhancements to eliminate customer obstacles.
• Effectively prioritize tasks and contribute to the regional team’s expected outcomes for revenue, profitability, customer retention, and distributor management, demonstrating a strong sense of urgency.
• Provide support concerning standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure customers are aware of training and support available through Axalta training courses and local performance groups.
• Lead paint conversion initiatives and engage distribution resources to assist customers.
• Maintain accurate contact details and data in SalesForce (SFDC).
• Utilize appropriate technological resources (SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Office, etc.) to enhance individual productivity and communication with colleagues and customers.
• A university degree and/or 3–5 years of experience in the automotive refinish industry.
• Exceptional communication skills in French; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the business landscape related to collision repair, commercial transport, and the industrial sector, along with foundational distribution principles.
• Practical knowledge of Axalta’s core product lines and basic shop management practices.
• Ability to recognize customer needs and respond swiftly to resolve issues effectively through a collaborative approach.
• Self-discipline and capability to work efficiently in autonomous, minimally structured environments.
• Professional demeanor at all organizational levels and consideration of the implications of actions on customers.
• A dedicated team player who actively seeks opportunities to support territory activities and customer requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
