This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Optimize the potential of AbbVie’s Anti-Infective product lineup within a designated geographic region.

• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with hospitals, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), academic institutions, outpatient facilities, long-term care establishments, government entities, and specialty private practices.

• Enhance patient access, foster new business opportunities, expand existing operations, optimize resources, and meet sales objectives for the region.

• Guide hospital and specialty clients through the sales process and secure commitments from prescribers.

• Conduct on-label presentations and sales discussions that emphasize product benefits and associated risks.

• Distinguish the value proposition of the Anti-Infective portfolio among executives, healthcare professionals, hospital staff, and support teams.

• Address product and patient-flow challenges via Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, and Buy and Bill channels.

• Align stakeholders from various departments to focus on patient-centered solutions.

• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to formulate compliant strategies and tactics.

• Develop, implement, and assess strategic business plans for the designated geography.

• Identify account priorities, distribution channels, healthcare professional focus, and frequency of contact.

• Utilize account data to maintain comprehensive profiles and relationship maps.

• Target key stakeholders and decision-makers to broaden physician engagement and the customer network.

• Engage in local boards, societies, conventions, and healthcare professional meetings.

• Represent AbbVie and its products at professional events while communicating insights internally.

• Fulfill required training and adhere to company policies, as well as OEC/Legal procedures.

• Meet the credentialing standards for healthcare industry representatives.

• Collaborate across healthcare institutions and with cross-functional teams to devise compliant communication strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; however, relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 3 years preferred in the pharmaceutical, health, or science sectors.

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• Experience in account-based selling within hospitals, wound care centers, or infusion centers is essential.

• Proven ability to build hospital advocacy for acute care products.

• Proficient in navigating complex environments and working with intricate customers such as IDNs, academic institutions, hospitals, and outpatient accounts.

• Familiarity with formulary approval processes and experience in driving such approvals.

• Experience with Buy and Bill and specialty pharmacy products is preferred.

• Demonstrated strong sales performance is required.

• Advanced sales and presentation skills, particularly in communicating intricate or novel products and processes.

• Capability to analyze diverse data sets using various tools and define strategies for accounts and programs.

• Strong skills in planning, organization, facilitation, problem resolution, and analysis.

• Ability to swiftly learn procedural, technical, and clinical information.

• Proficiency in understanding and presenting complex scientific information to diverse audiences.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple accounts effectively.

• Must be able to cover the assigned geographic area.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet safe-driving standards are necessary.

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

• Willingness to travel throughout the territory and participate in overnight training sessions and sales meetings.

• Ability to meet relevant HCIR credentialing requirements, which may include background checks, drug testing, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and obtaining specific licenses as required by local regulations.

• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential.
