This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Account Development Manager serves as the main point of contact between Nutrinova and our clients, nurturing long-lasting relationships to enhance retention and pinpoint growth opportunities.
• This role involves managing client portfolios, addressing issues, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction while meeting sales targets through value-driven selling of our unique product offerings.
• Responsible for managing and cultivating profitable sales within the designated area of responsibility.
• Oversee regional key accounts as well as assigned global key accounts.
• Manage and inspire channel partners, devising channel strategies for commercial success.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts with strategic accounts.
• Develop account plans for all assigned customers and ensure their execution in collaboration with the Marketing and R&D teams.
• Conduct general account management tasks, including customer visits, call reports, sampling, negotiations, and customer service.
• Provide precise monthly sales forecasts.
• Negotiate sales contracts to secure long-term profitable relationships with key customers.
• Assist the customer care and credit teams in fulfilling orders according to the plan and in receiving outstanding payments promptly.
• Optimize price realization and manage cash collection, including payment terms.
• Ensure sales growth in high-end applications and geographic areas.
• Gather market intelligence and continuously assess the market and competitive landscape within the assigned areas of responsibility.
• Drive business development for preservatives and sweeteners across food and non-food categories, including pharmaceuticals, home care, cosmetics, and personal care, aligning with the overall business strategy.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, ideally in Business, Food Science, Beverage Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in account management, sales, customer success, or a similar commercial role.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in English, along with fluent Spanish language skills (both written and verbal).
• Willingness and ability to travel 25–30%, including domestic and occasional international travel.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities effectively.
• Must reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zone of the United States.
