Account Payables Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee, train, and mentor the accounts payable team.

• Discover and implement automation solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes.

• Work collaboratively with internal departments to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data for reporting and process enhancement.

• Support vendor relationship management by resolving payment discrepancies and ensuring timely and precise payments.

• Uphold the integrity and accuracy of financial data while maintaining up-to-date records in accordance with accounting standards.

• Ensure compliance with SOX standards for internal controls related to financial reporting, including evaluating and testing controls, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements.

• Identify and execute enhancements to the accounts payable process.

• Track key performance indicators for accuracy, timeliness, compliance, and customer service.

• Evaluate team performance and implement strategies aimed at boosting productivity and efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in identifying and implementing automation solutions within finance or accounts payable roles.

• Familiarity with automation tools such as RPA, ERP systems, or similar technologies is advantageous.

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities effectively under tight deadlines.

• Experience in SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide leadership in driving process improvements.

• Experience with Tipalti, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms is desirable but not essential.

• A minimum of five years of experience in Accounts Payable is preferred.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct or equivalent ERP software.
