This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Cultivate and uphold robust relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in designated customer accounts.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans aimed at customer retention, growth, and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Gain insight into customer business objectives, challenges, and priorities, aligning Velsera solutions to promote their success.
• Recognize opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding Velsera's range of products and services.
• Lead discussions on customer renewals and assist with contract negotiations to guarantee ongoing customer success and business expansion.
• Proactively engage and manage accounts to foresee and address customer challenges.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Professional Services, Product, Support, and Sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Conduct regular business reviews and executive stakeholder meetings to convey value, outcomes, and future opportunities.
• Keep track of current activities, account planning, forecasting, renewals, and expansion opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Maintain a comprehensive and relevant understanding of Velsera's product portfolio, genomics, bioinformatics analysis, and customer-specific scientific direction.
• Create and present business reviews, proposals, and strategic recommendations to address expressed and anticipated customer needs.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to spot opportunities and reinforce Velsera's position within customer accounts.
• Develop a strategic plan for all assigned accounts and provide regular updates, forecasts, and growth opportunities to senior leadership.
• Assist in customer adoption initiatives and advocate for customer needs and feedback within the organization.
• Actively participate in industry meetings and conferences as needed to represent Velsera.
• Travel may be required up to 30% of the time.
• Over 5 years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, or Business Development in SaaS, healthcare, life sciences, genetics, or genomics fields.
• Proven experience in managing strategic customer relationships within Life Science organizations, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and CRO settings.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance customer retention, renewals, and revenue growth within existing accounts.
• Essential knowledge of customer success and account development techniques, with a strong preference for experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline.
• Ability to network across all organizational levels and establish relationships with senior management in healthcare organizations effortlessly.
• Proficient in understanding and presenting technical and/or scientific concepts and materials clearly and effectively.
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative team player capable of thriving both independently and as part of a team to enhance customer success and business growth.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
