Account Manager – Industrial Coatings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Provide sales assistance for current clients in the industrial coatings sector.

• Cultivate new business by strengthening relationships with key decision-makers.

• Possess knowledge of liquid coating application and collaborate with customers to enhance coating characteristics and functionality.

• Collaborate with R&D to gain insight into product chemistry.

• Build and maintain relationships with existing accounts.

• Identify and pursue potential new accounts.

• Familiarize yourself with Hempel products.

• Gain an understanding of the Hempel organization.

• Participate in trade shows to generate leads and enhance brand recognition.

• Prepare price quotations and monthly reports detailing sales activities.

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to coordinate trade show efforts, literature, and promotional materials.

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Hempel products and the ordering system.

• Manage expenses and organize customer entertainment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Minimum of 4 years experience in paint or coatings application.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Ability in selling and building relationships.

• Proficient negotiation skills.

• Good command of Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional writing abilities.

• Strong oral presentation skills.

• Excellent time management capabilities.

• Willingness to travel overnight (33-50%).
