This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of territory performance by driving demand and adoption while achieving assigned sales targets.
• Cultivate and engage physician advocates who can influence clinical adoption and facilitate broader hospital acceptance.
• Secure hospital access by navigating Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) committees and the institutional review process in collaboration with Market Access.
• Identify, prioritize, and pursue growth opportunities within both new and existing hospital accounts.
• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with orthopedic surgeons, infectious disease specialists, and key clinical stakeholders.
• Provide education and training for surgeons, perioperative teams, pharmacists, and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate usage.
• Transform early adoption into ongoing utilization and maintain strong territory performance.
• Work in tandem with internal partners and deliver actionable field insights to guide strategy and implementation.
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of successful hospital-based sales experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, medtech, or orthopedic settings.
• Proven experience in navigating Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) or VAC committees, as well as hospital formulary processes.
• Established ability to foster physician advocacy and influence adoption within intricate hospital systems.
• A history of being recognized as a trusted advisor by orthopedic surgeons and/or infectious disease specialists.
• Previous experience in launching new product categories and building territories or businesses from the ground up is essential.
• Experience in sales within operating room, perioperative, and inpatient hospital environments is required.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a demonstrated team-oriented approach; ability to effectively partner with Market Access, Clinical, and commercial stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
