This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.
• The primary role of the Account Manager involves overseeing assigned clients and their stores by planning, briefing, monitoring, and executing marketing campaigns designed to boost conversions and sales.
• This position entails managing, supervising, and leading the client-agency relationship for all clients assigned to you.
• Responsibilities also include crafting and implementing marketing strategies, managing client communications, preparing client reports, and articulating the client’s marketing needs to other team members.
• You will be tasked with providing your team with the necessary information to ensure that all marketing campaigns are crafted, designed, and executed to the highest standard.
• As an Account Manager, your objective is to aid your clients in achieving their revenue targets through the products and services offered by our company.
• The Account Manager will report directly to the Head of Account Managers, the Account Managers’ Leads, and the Service Director while working in collaboration with other departments.
• Mission statement: The core mission of our Account Manager is to maintain strong relationships with assigned clients while ensuring that our products and services deliver tangible results.
• This includes generating innovative ideas for clients’ marketing initiatives, monitoring the effectiveness of such campaigns, and ensuring open channels of productive communication with our clients.
• You will also lead teams comprising professional Copywriters, Designers, and Account Managers’ Associates to ensure the seamless execution of your assigned clients’ marketing campaigns.
• This role involves outlining the client's campaign calendar, briefing new campaigns, delegating creative tasks, and overseeing the timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
• Effectively managing and ensuring the successful execution and performance of the marketing campaigns for your assigned clients.
• Building and nurturing a solid relationship with your assigned clients to promote peak productivity, open communication, and establish trust between our clients and Hustler Marketing.
• Responsible for planning, developing, and executing marketing strategies (including email campaigns, SMS campaigns, pop-ups, and flows) for your assigned clients (which means managing approximately 40 unique marketing campaigns monthly).
• Ensuring that the needs and expectations of your assigned clients are adequately managed and met.
• Striving to enhance the results from email marketing for your assigned clients.
• Collaborating with team members to respond promptly to client requests.
• Working effectively alongside a team of experienced marketing professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing campaigns to our clients.
• Maintaining regular contact with your assigned clients, including leading and attending routine meetings with them.
• Collecting and analyzing data to understand consumer demographics and trends to advance the clients' marketing agenda and drive improved outcomes, setting new goals weekly.
• Regularly reporting on the performance of the email marketing campaigns for your assigned clients, covering aspects such as revenue generated from email marketing, best-performing campaigns, results from A/B testing, and measures taken to enhance and optimize client revenue.
• Collaborating with the Service Department to uphold high work standards and ensure that the established targets for your assigned clients are met regarding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintaining a close watch on client churn (especially for your assigned clients) and implementing strategies to prevent client turnover, with the support of the Service Director.
• Troubleshooting and assisting with any issues related to client satisfaction and the performance of marketing campaigns developed and executed by our team.
• Demonstrating the ability to work effectively and productively with any type of client with minimal supervision.
• Engaging in various tasks as part of the Account Managers team.
• Participating in group calls with the Account Managers.
• Engaging in training and skill-building sessions for Account Managers within the Service Department to enhance their skills, performance, and overall expertise.
• Acting as a liaison between clients and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of new services and products offered by Hustler Marketing.
• Continuously seeking new opportunities to expand services provided to clients through regular communication and relationship development.
• Utilizing data analysis techniques to create targeted campaigns for upselling our services to client segments and to present these service offers compellingly to clients.
• Continuously researching industry-wide best practices and standards and reporting your findings to the Account Managers’ Lead, the Head of Account Managers, and the Service Director.
• Being readily available to assist with all internal service-related needs from other departments.
• Reporting directly to the Account Managers’ Leads, the Head of Account Managers, and the Service Director (in that order).
• A minimum of 12 months of experience in a digital marketing role, with at least 6 months of experience in email marketing (Preference will be given to candidates with remote team experience, international team collaboration, or account management or agency experience).
• A demonstrated ability to achieve success in a leadership role is essential, particularly in guiding a team of creatives to deliver quality work that meets client needs.
• Must possess the ability to work independently without compromising work standards.
• Highly accountable, responsive, and possessing an excellent ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and marketing professionals in our Service Department, along with problem-solving and critical thinking skills essential for addressing client needs and resolving issues.
• A growth-oriented and results-driven mindset, with the ability to accept and implement constructive criticism.
• Remote work experience is a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills are necessary for working with clients and addressing any queries, complaints, or issues.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, coupled with excellent time management skills and high levels of focus, productivity, and efficiency.
• Knowledge or experience with email marketing, e-commerce, or Klaviyo is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with autonomous work and time management (remote work experience is a plus).
• Must be available and responsive during office hours (Monday to Friday between 3-6 PM BCN time).
• Commitment to working 30-35 hours per week (i.e., 140 hours per month).
• Must have a stable internet connection and a laptop or PC, as well as the capability to attend virtual video conferences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required; fluency in English is mandatory, though it need not be your native language.
