This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
• Establish trustworthy, efficient, and productive relationships with client executives in designated accounts.
• Spearhead the development of long-term strategic account management plans for key accounts, based on recognized client business, technology, and cybersecurity objectives, along with Optiv's insights into security trends, threats, and perspectives for each assigned account.
• Generate a substantial sales pipeline, ideally four times the assigned targets, within designated accounts and meet or surpass the assigned gross margin objective.
• Accurately manage current and multi-quarter forecasts with a high level of precision, relevance, and integrity.
• Execute with discipline while adhering to Force Management principles, including MEDDICC and Command of the Message, among others.
• Clearly articulate Optiv’s value proposition pertaining to security services and technological expertise and capabilities.
• Foster strong, collaborative, and productive partnerships with technology partners and their respective sales teams to both acquire and share leads, supporting the development of a qualified pipeline and maximizing mutually advantageous sales opportunities.
• Initiate and/or oversee all necessary communications among clients, technology partners, and members of the extended Optiv team (technical, sales, client operations, etc.) within each designated account.
• Maintain collaborative and effective internal communication with Optiv team members concerning specific opportunities, associated requirements, and client satisfaction.
• Background in IT product or services sales typically accumulated over 3-5+ years in a technology company, preferably in cybersecurity.
• Proven capability to construct and implement territory and account prospecting and expansion strategies, with a history of surpassing assigned quotas.
• Experience in engaging cross-functional resources such as sales, pre-sales technical support, and other support personnel effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate productive business relationships with key executives and sponsors within designated accounts.
• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in negotiation.
