This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee all aspects of a designated territory to achieve or surpass set goals.
• Process customer orders, manage credits, establish pricing, and maintain communication with customers throughout the order lifecycle.
• Enhance territory volume while developing and implementing customer action plans.
• Formulate and execute strategic sales plans that encompass weight, sales figures, gross margin, and RMAs.
• Handle customer requests for quotes, orders, and credits.
• Provide assistance to customers regarding inquiries about orders, invoices, and accounts.
• Relay project updates, confirm delivery schedules, and notify about backorders.
• Conduct field visits as required.
• Perform quality reviews on customer-submitted or CSM-entered cut lists, address any discrepancies, and communicate solutions.
• Analyze customer trends and initiate root-cause action plans for customers experiencing declines.
• Modify customer pricing, freight charges, packaging specifications, and special delivery requirements as necessary.
• Align customer project forecasts with manufacturing capabilities and material availability.
• Escalate any customer quality and satisfaction concerns for prompt resolution.
• Support the credit department in the collection of overdue balances.
• Assist in warranty claim investigations.
• Travel to company manufacturing facilities and engage with employees as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Previous experience in account management and inside sales is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot effectively, and implement solutions.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Proficient in both verbal and electronic communication.
• Ability to engage in extensive reading.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate through manufacturing work areas during facility tours.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
• No supervisory duties, but may assist in training or mentoring administrative staff.
