This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate effectively with a dedicated Account Management team, including underwriting, Sales, and leadership support, to ensure proactive, comprehensive, and ongoing ownership and accountability for each client.
• Be knowledgeable about client data and ready to partner with clients on strategic recommendations to guide renewals and identify growth opportunities.
• Utilize data to create strategic account plans for clients to assess business needs and, when necessary, suggest modifications to Gravie’s benefit solutions.
• Organize kick-off meetings with employer populations, hold regular meetings with clients, and ensure you provide accurate and timely responses to client inquiries.
• Perform monthly reviews of each client's claims experience, offering updates and suggestions for cost savings.
• Prepare and deliver quarterly progress reports on goals to the client and broker.
• Conduct proactive, data-driven Mid-Year Pulse Checks focusing on intervention strategies, renewal planning, and performance optimization.
• Present strategic renewal proposals to clients and negotiate rates as necessary, collaborating directly with the Underwriting Team and leadership to secure a successful renewal.
• Understand Gravie’s marketing campaigns to leverage accounts for strategically upselling Gravie products based on utilization.
• Be well-informed about all Gravie offerings and the regulatory and compliance requirements of each, continuously educating clients on Gravie’s products and services.
• Ensure a seamless transition for new employer clients from sales to a successful implementation experience.
• Investigate and resolve client issues as well as elevated member concerns from Gravie’s advisor team, considering the “full picture” of the client for resolution.
• Effectively utilize and document client information in our CRM system.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relationship or account management field.
• Must hold a health insurance license in your home state.
• Over 3 years of account management experience in the health insurance sector.
• At least 2 years of experience using data to derive insights and make strategic recommendations.
• Experience in a dynamic environment, with the ability to research and solve problems with minimal guidance.
• More than 3 years of collaborative experience across various teams and functions.
• Previous experience in a start-up or emerging growth company (extra credit).
• Experience with self-insured health plans (extra credit).
• Experience in establishing processes and standards for exceptional customer service (extra credit).
