Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• The Account Manager position is a central account management role, overseeing Ulta, JCP, and Beauty Brands business.

• This role is tasked with leading and executing a Joint Business Plan that has been developed and aligned at the customer headquarters, which is implemented across over 2,000 salons and stores nationwide.

• The Account Manager is expected to achieve channel and brand business objectives, which includes driving revenue growth and market share through exceptional sales fundamentals (e.g., pricing, distribution, merchandising, shelving), with a particular focus on the needs of salon and store operations.

• This position entails direct selling and account management duties, collaborating with teams from Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Demand Planning, and Education to create and implement business strategies that meet or surpass set targets.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a national account is required.

• A background in the professional salon industry and beauty is strongly preferred.

• Proven experience in managing headquarter accounts, particularly in high-level buyer and merchant relationship management.

• Experience in forecasting, business planning, and managing trade spend is essential.

• Familiarity with customer marketing, planogram analysis, and E-commerce management is required.

• Proficient in using syndicated data and conducting analysis.

• A strong passion for the industry and a self-motivated attitude are essential.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively navigate a matrixed organization.

• Comfortable presenting to C-suite executives.

• High organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail are necessary.

• A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• A valid Driver's License is required.
