This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of designated order and revenue goals while ensuring a profitable mix of products and services.
• Create technology and capital replacement plans specific to accounts, aligned with customer priorities and budgeting cycles.
• Direct the opportunity strategy from qualification through proposal, commercial negotiation, and closure.
• Formulate competitive conversion strategies and new-account approaches to enhance market presence and share.
• Foster trusted relationships with current and potential customers through outreach efforts, meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and site visits.
• Recognize customer needs and opportunities for upgrades, service contracts, software solutions, and new products.
• Generate leads through ongoing prospecting, whitespace analysis, cold calling, and business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with strategic account leaders, sales specialists, and other team members on complex opportunities.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and necessary sales documentation.
• Keep accurate records of customer, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information in CRM systems.
• Participate in forecasting, pipeline reviews, account planning, and customer success initiatives.
• Coordinate with Service, Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Contract Administration throughout the sales and implementation lifecycle.
• Maintain strong retention with the installed base and address customer concerns through the appropriate internal channels.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and various industry events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–5 years of successful B2B sales or account management experience, ideally in selling medical capital equipment, software, or complex healthcare technology.
• Experience in sales to hospitals, health systems, or other complex healthcare organizations.
• Proven ability to cultivate relationships, generate pipeline, and manage opportunities throughout a complex sales cycle.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in a commercial context.
• Capability to establish credibility with both clinical and executive-level customers.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a matrix organization.
• Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% across Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with oncology, radiation therapy, healthcare IT, medical imaging, or hospital environments is preferred.
• Prior experience in capital equipment sales is preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare software and information systems is preferred.
• Experience navigating hospital capital budgeting and procurement processes is preferred.
