This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Provides comprehensive coverage for Account Manager (AM) duties during designated absences.
• Responsible for remotely establishing, nurturing, and enhancing robust relationships with C-suite executives (CEOs, CFOs, COOs), Student Groups, and other key influencers/decision-makers in strategically significant large accounts within the assigned region.
• Position NMDP’s Mission to ensure optimal access and collaboration within preferred donor segments while developing profound donor insights to foster growth and loyalty.
• Coordinate all activities within assigned territories to recruit potential donors for the registry.
• Formulates and implements strategies to create access to students, employees, and key contacts within targeted accounts.
• Conducts persuasive presentations and drives initiatives focused on the member value proposition to engage targeted audiences for the registry.
• Cultivates collaborative partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, leading without formal authority to promote alignment and coordination across member recruitment teams.
• Exhibits knowledge of the Cell Therapy landscape, including relevant pathways and guidelines.
• An associate's or bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven account management and/or sales experience.
• Familiarity with strategic account selling and planning methodologies.
• Proficient in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills.
• Capability to demonstrate strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Possess a consultative, results-driven approach rooted in understanding customer perspectives and decision-making processes.
• Ability to forge strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners.
• High degree of learning agility and adaptability to new, uncertain, or challenging situations.
• Elevated self-awareness with the capacity to translate feedback into actionable improvements.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to follow through effectively.
• Identify and fulfill internal/external customer needs.
• Employ flexible and creative thinking when devising new business solutions.
• Build consensus, secure buy-in on responsibilities, and facilitate business plans that affect multiple teams.
• Strong organizational, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage conflict and effectively prioritize tasks.
