This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develops and implements strategies to establish connections with students, employees, and key individuals within targeted accounts.
• Delivers compelling presentations and drives initiatives centered on the member value proposition to attract specific audiences to the registry.
• The Account Manager fosters collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, leading without formal authority to ensure alignment and coordination among member recruitment teams.
• Effective communication necessitates marketplace knowledge, assessing partners’ business needs, and understanding evolving dynamics within the region. Provides sound business insights and showcases a strong ability to prioritize and act on both current and future opportunities.
• Exhibits a deep understanding of the Cell Therapy landscape, including pathways and guidelines, and can clearly express the significance of NMDP partnerships for both donors and patients served.
• The Account Manager will show comprehensive strategic account planning capabilities, developing effective business plans aimed at enhancing ethnically diverse members through clearly defined strategies and tactics.
• Monitors and assesses the performance of existing initiatives, making adjustments based on informed business decisions.
• Knowledge of:
• - Strategic account selling and planning.
• - Salesforce and Microsoft Office, particularly proficient in Excel.
• Ability to:
• - Exhibit strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• - Maintain a consultative, results-oriented mindset that aligns with customer decision-making processes.
• - Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners.

• - Possess a heightened degree of self-awareness, with the capability to translate feedback into actionable steps.
• - Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills, including a proven ability to follow through on commitments.

• - Apply flexible and innovative thinking when crafting new business solutions.
• - Build consensus, gain support for responsibilities, and facilitate business plans that affect multiple teams.
• - Showcase strong organizational, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• - Manage conflicts and prioritize effectively.
• Education and/or Experience:
• - Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• - At least 3 years of proven success in account management and/or sales.
• Additional Requirements:
• - Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• - Must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time.
