This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Account Manager is tasked with overseeing relationships with key regional customer distribution accounts, fostering local connections with national account representatives, and cultivating end-user relationships within the B2B sector to achieve top-line sales revenue and profitability goals.
• Successful candidates will collaborate closely with Sales Planning and Supply Chain to formulate sustainable growth strategies.
• Responsible for spearheading the creation of tailored account strategies and annual operating plans that meet Newell Brands' budget expectations (both revenue and profitability).
• Guides the execution, creation, and delivery of customer Joint Business Plans, ensuring successful quarterly business reviews with pivotal customers and end users.
• Proactively utilizes SFDC to generate opportunities, campaigns, and reporting, aimed at enhancing the close ratio.
• Must exhibit strong financial acumen, managing all account P&L levers, which include list price, sales allowances, rebates, markdowns, trade marketing expenditure, and other customer investments.
• Possesses experience in cold calling and generating new leads.
• Accountable for providing accurate sales forecasts and achieving sales objectives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required; an MBA is advantageous.
• A minimum of 5+ years of direct and hands-on sales experience.
• Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and/or consumer durables sectors is highly preferred.
• Proficient in analyzing syndicated data.
• Familiarity with a live trade accrual system is essential.
• High-level understanding of working with Retailer POS systems and metrics.
• Sales experience in consumer products is preferred, especially across multiple brands.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be capable of presenting data clearly to various organizational levels.
• Strong skills in project planning, tracking, and organization.
