This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Create and implement account-level strategies aimed at achieving revenue growth objectives across key accounts.
• Collaborate with internal sales teams to monitor forecasting, pipeline activities, and progress towards goals.
• Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers and influencers in engineering, purchasing, and management roles.
• Offer consultative support during customer design and purchasing processes to enhance product adoption.
• Present products and services professionally to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify customer challenges, requirements, and opportunities; propose solutions to enhance satisfaction and boost revenue.
• Generate and share customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends with sales leadership and product teams.
• Work alongside product managers, engineers, and leadership to assist in business development initiatives.
• Utilize effective sales techniques and continuously improve strategies to optimize account performance.
• Ensure accurate reporting of forecasts, opportunity funnels, account activities, and progress updates.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in industrial sales; experience in selling mechanical components in automation or assembly equipment is preferred.
• Strong consultative selling abilities with the capacity to engage various levels within a customer organization.
• High business acumen with the skill to translate customer needs into actionable solutions.
• A strategic mindset capable of developing and executing account growth plans.
• Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with confidence in presenting to diverse audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Results-oriented, focused on achieving revenue targets and measurable outcomes.
• Proficient in building relationships and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally.
• High degree of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
• Adaptable and responsive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Preferred industry knowledge in automation, mechanical components, or related manufacturing fields.
• Experience engaging with markets such as automotive, semiconductor, medical, or electric vehicles is preferred.
