This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the primary contact for designated accounts in Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska.
• Provide strategic sales guidance and communication tactics to maintain current business and acquire new clients.
• Execute business and marketing strategies for assigned accounts in collaboration with stakeholders and leadership.
• Achieve sales targets, ensuring profitable year-over-year growth for the designated region.
• Acquire knowledge about Amcor, its products, the packaging sector, and the competitive landscape.
• Enhance business opportunities with existing and prospective accounts through networking and prospecting.
• Support key business negotiations for new opportunities while upholding Amcor's interests.
• Foster customer relationships founded on trust and respect.
• Develop cross-functional relationships to support share-of-wallet growth, commercialization, and onboarding processes.
• Engage with co-packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations.
• Collaborate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for validation and customer trials.
• Oversee accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department.
• Partner with Strategic Marketing to address key unmet customer needs.
• Implement specified technology, product management, and commercial strategies for the market and targeted segments.
• Report on sales and marketing contributions to the business unit for monthly management reviews.
• Drive accuracy in forecasting.
• Manage account planning, pipeline management, profitability enhancements, and churn management within the CRM tool.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in technical sales and general management, preferably within the packaging industry.
• Demonstrated success in sales growth and profitability.
• Experience in negotiations.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time.
• Proficient in using CRM tools.
