This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.
• Create and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at enhancing revenue and profitability across designated European territories and accounts.
• Discover and secure new business prospects within the polymer, rubber, elastomer, and associated manufacturing sectors.
• Oversee the entire sales process from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract finalization.
• Establish and nurture relationships with purchasing, technical, R&D, manufacturing, and executive stakeholders.
• Advocate for a range of specialty additives and performance-boosting solutions for plastics and rubber applications.
• Propel growth through both direct sales and applicable distribution channels.
• Manage and enhance relationships with current customers to boost wallet share and ensure long-term retention.
• Conduct regular visits and business reviews with customers to comprehend their needs and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate commercial efforts, forecasts, pricing discussions, and contract renewals.
• Proactively address customer issues while maintaining a high standard of service and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, product managers, and technical experts to effectively position products.
• Assist customers with product selection and application discussions.
• Keep abreast of market trends, competitive actions, raw material advancements, and emerging technologies.
• Identify prospects for new products, market segments, and supplier collaborations.
• Formulate territory plans, sales forecasts, and opportunity pipelines.
• Maintain precise customer and opportunity documentation within CRM systems.
• Generate regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and business development efforts.
• Work in partnership with leadership to develop pricing strategies and growth initiatives.
• A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of commercial experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, rubber, additives, compounding, or comparable industries.
• Proven track record in B2B technical sales and account management.
• Strong knowledge of polymer and/or rubber manufacturing processes and additive technologies.
• Experience selling to manufacturers, compounders, converters, OEMs, or industrial clients.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (approximately 40–60%).
• Proficient English communication skills.

• Established network within the European plastics, rubber, or specialty chemicals sectors.
• Experience with additives such as:

• - Antioxidants
• - UV additives

• - Rubber chemicals
• Proficiency in additional European languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, or Turkish) is highly advantageous.
