This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Promote the Shield™ colorectal cancer blood test to healthcare professionals in primary care environments.
• Achieve or surpass sales targets through prospecting, relationship-building, and implementing national sales strategies.
• Establish connections with healthcare providers and secure their commitment to adopt Shield and other cancer tests.
• Employ challenger-selling techniques to comprehend provider needs and showcase product value.
• Educate and train primary care practices to facilitate the seamless integration of the Shield workflow.
• Collaborate with clinical, marketing, and product teams on sales strategies and business plans.
• Identify new business opportunities within the designated territory.
• Cultivate partnerships with regional and local laboratories to expand outreach and secure phlebotomy draw agreements.
• Develop and implement business plans to support the launch of new cancer screening technologies.
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback.
• Communicate insights, opportunities, and feedback to commercial leadership.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and proactively address issues throughout the sales process.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulations while managing projects and meeting deadlines.
• At least 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare sector (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales), or at least 2 years of customer-facing healthcare sales experience combined with direct clinical experience in a patient care setting as a registered nurse or physician assistant.
• Demonstrated history of success and a strong drive for achievement.
• Capability to engage in sales discussions, address objections, and align client needs with product offerings.
• Solid understanding of the healthcare provider landscape and the ability to quickly learn and apply technical product knowledge.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel daily within the assigned territory and occasionally nationally for sales meetings.
• Curiosity, sound judgment, and the ability to critically assess and responsibly use AI-enabled tools in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Background screening, including criminal history, is required.
• Preferred: Experience with diagnostic products, especially blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directed at primary care providers.
• Preferred: Familiarity with the primary care landscape within the assigned territory.
• Preferred: Proven experience in planning and executing product launches in healthcare or diagnostics.
• Preferred: High-touch customer service and relationship-building abilities.
