This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Ensure that customers experience exceptional service levels and significant value within their Microsoft environments.
• Enable customers to optimize their IT investments and achieve their objectives through expedited adoption.
• Onboard, retain, and utilize Microsoft agreements to promote product sales and service opportunities.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Licensing Executives, Customer Account Managers, Client Success Managers, and solution or product resources.
• Surpass revenue and profit targets by leveraging SHI’s value propositions, sales strategies, and pricing proposals.
• Foster existing customer relationships while establishing new ones through cold calls, meetings, and networking efforts.
• Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet targets and grow the business.
• Work in conjunction with sales management to oversee sales opportunities and fulfill quarterly and annual goals.
• Build alliances with internal support teams and external industry partners for collaborative selling efforts.
• Understand customer business priorities, IT goals, and initiatives to offer customized solutions.
• Articulate SHI’s products, solutions, services, and capabilities to customers and partners effectively.
• Analyze competition and position SHI’s offerings strategically to secure new business.
• Engage with cross-departmental and extended support teams to identify opportunities and maximize resources.
• Enhance market visibility through participation in local and regional industry events, organizations, and affiliations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and market conditions.
• Report to a District Sales Manager in a designated region.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of proven sales experience is required.
• Ability to thrive in a team-selling environment is essential — Intermediate level.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets is crucial — Intermediate level.
• Proficiency in building client relationships and developing new business is necessary — Intermediate level.
• Competence in account management is required — Intermediate level.
• Skill in project management is necessary — Intermediate level.
• Understanding of business operations and strategy is essential — Intermediate level.
• A minimum of 50% of time spent outside an office setting engaging with existing and potential customers.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites within the designated territory.
• Travel to SHI, partner, and customer events is required.
• Must currently hold or be able to obtain the necessary sales and/or technical certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
