
Account Executive – Point of Care Diagnostics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Promote Abbott Point of Care diagnostic and data management solutions to hospitals in the Northern Denver area, which includes northern Colorado, Wyoming, and southern Montana.
• Spearhead commercial initiatives to enhance market share and foster sustainable growth.
• Meet sales objectives by effectively managing the sales cycle and territory.
• Sustain the existing sales base while acquiring new business opportunities in both new and established accounts.
• Navigate intricate sales landscapes with various stakeholders and evolving decision-making processes.
• Cultivate strong customer relationships.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies.
• Anticipate potential risks and establish mitigation strategies.
• Efficiently utilize available resources.
• Timely and accurately complete training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts, and other administrative responsibilities.
• Deliver customer-centric service while traveling within the designated territory.
• Adhere to applicable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Implement and uphold the effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Report directly to the District Manager.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant sales experience, or at least 1 year of sales experience complemented by a clinical background such as BSN, MLT, CLS, RT, or Cardiac Technology.
• Must reside within the assigned territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory and to other business locations as needed.
• Some regional overnight travel is necessary.
• A proven track record of consistent sales overachievement is preferred.
• Experience in diagnostics, point-of-care, laboratory, or capital equipment sales is preferred.
• Established relationships with Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) and hospital systems in the assigned territory are preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is preferred.
• High level of proficiency with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform is preferred.
• Completion of multiple sales training programs and active application of effective sales methodologies is preferred.
• Ability to adhere to applicable EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Capability to implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.
