This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Lead accounts in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Personal Care sectors to enhance revenue across the entire portfolio.
• Identify opportunities within the designated market and maintain control over accounts with end users and distribution channels.
• Create, execute, and monitor targeted programs utilizing Marketing and sales resources.
• Oversee core media and capital equipment sales in alignment with assigned budgets.
• Take responsibility for the revenue and profitability outcomes of designated accounts.
• Develop system-selling strategies for major Pharmaceutical and Personal Care accounts.
• Act as the regulatory expert for the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Personal Care markets.
• Utilize knowledge of compendial methods and requirements from incoming raw materials through to process validation and testing.
• Initiate direct sales calls, forecast activities, close sales, and offer post-sales support.
• Collaborate with the Service team to ensure successful installation and long-term customer satisfaction.
• Manage expenses, call reporting, funnel and competitive data, contracts, renewals, company assets, and compliance with safety standards.
• BA / BS in Life Sciences, biological sciences, business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of verifiable sales success, ideally within the top 20% of performers.
• At least 1 year of experience in laboratory and/or multi-level selling is preferred.
• Required experience in manufacturing sales within the pharmaceutical, medical device, compounding pharmacy, food testing, or QC/QA sectors.
• Capital equipment experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with compendial methods, regulatory standards, and their implications for the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, and Personal Care markets.
• Proven track record of achieving or surpassing sales plan profitability and objectives.
• Understanding of the selling process and customer loyalty development.
• Skills in direct sales, distribution-channel management, and/or team selling.
• Proficiency in preparation, presentation, and closing techniques.
• Experience managing multi-state territories, assessing accounts, and developing relationships.
• Analytical and financially focused approach to contracts, profitability, budgets, and expenses.
• Capability to cultivate markets for new technologies and medical practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and connectivity devices.
• Willingness to travel overnight 50% or more as necessary.
