This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Manage the complete sales process from initial discovery to closing deals.
• Assess opportunities and conduct consultative, value-oriented product demonstrations.
• Handle pricing discussions and objections, negotiate terms, and secure new business.
• Generate roughly 30% of the opportunity pipeline through proactive outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, follow-up sequences, and re-engagement of previously lost opportunities.
• Meet and exceed a monthly quota based on Annual Contract Value (ACV) and volume of closed deals.
• Engage in weekly reviews of the pipeline and forecasting activities.
• Conduct discovery sessions and demonstrations utilizing Better Impact’s proven methodologies and closing techniques.
• Grasp the priorities and urgency of prospects, applying established pricing and sales strategies.
• Keep HubSpot data accurate, reflecting deal stages, next steps, decision-makers, budget holders, and anticipated close dates.
• Collaborate with SDR/BDR team members and Customer Success to ensure smooth handoffs and onboarding processes.
• Remain updated on products, pricing, and competitive landscapes.
• Provide customer and market insights to the wider team.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Sales.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle sales, preferably in the SaaS or software sector, with a proven history of achieving or surpassing sales goals.
• Proficiency in creating and executing outbound sequences using tools like Apollo, Sales Navigator, or similar, in addition to handling inbound opportunities.
• Comfort in a demo-centric sales atmosphere characterized by high activity and rapid deal flow.
• Strong skills in discovery and handling objections effectively.
• Capability to sell value and outcomes to potential buyers.
• Experience or genuine ease in selling to mission-driven and budget-conscious entities such as non-profits, government agencies, healthcare, or educational institutions.
• Ability to create urgency and demonstrate value without being overly transactional.
• Disciplined management of pipeline and CRM, ensuring data accuracy, reliable forecasting, and consistent follow-ups.
• Openness to receiving feedback and coaching, applying insights to improve performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Competence in presenting to individual volunteer coordinators and larger buying committees.
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• Strong advantages include experience selling to non-profits, volunteer programs, healthcare organizations, higher education, government, or local councils.
• Additional advantages include experience in volunteer management, case management, CSR/ESG, or other mission-driven or compliance-related SaaS sectors.
• Further advantages include experience during mergers or significant changes in pricing or packaging.
• Familiarity with HubSpot as a sales CRM is a strong plus.
• Experience with MEDDPICC, Sandler, or similar sales methodologies is a strong plus.
