This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Optimize business opportunities for approved products related to Parkinson’s disease.
• Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with Movement Disorder Specialists, Neurologists, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, nurses, executives, department managers, and support staff.
• Enhance understanding of product benefits and risks while raising awareness of therapeutic gaps, in accordance with approved labels.
• Generate new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, maximize resource efficiency, and boost sales to meet the assigned product portfolio sales objectives.
• Cultivate and sustain compliant relationships with Parkinson’s advocacy and support organizations.
• Conduct on-label technical and scientific presentations as well as sales calls utilizing approved data and resources.
• Comprehend and respond to customer needs while developing account relationships that benefit both patients and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with AbbVie field and internal teams to identify, design, or modify strategies and tactics.
• Act as the primary US Commercial contact for targeted accounts within the designated region.
• Formulate, execute, and communicate strategic and tactical plans for targeted accounts.
• Track and report sales progress while maintaining communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Attend and engage in neurology society meetings, conferences, patient programs, support groups, and advocacy events.
• Represent AbbVie and its products at events to foster relationships and deliver compliant product education.
• Relay key information and insights to internal stakeholders.
• Develop territory account strategies, align resources, and modify tactics based on account and geographic dynamics.
• Stay informed about clinical, market, and payer developments pertaining to Parkinson’s disease.
• Complete mandatory AbbVie training and adhere to company policies along with OEC/Legal procedures.
• Fulfill healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements for territory facilities and organizations.
• Represent AbbVie as a preferred partner in the Parkinson’s and Neuroscience sectors.
• A Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; alternatively, relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Over 3 years of experience in health science or sales.
• At least 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• In the absence of a degree, 8+ years of health science sales experience, including a minimum of 4 years in pharmaceutical sales, is acceptable.
• Strong networking and partnership abilities across various functional areas.
• Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
• Proven leadership qualities.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple stakeholders in intricate environments.
• Must meet applicable HCIR credentialing requirements and maintain good standing or be eligible to obtain them.
• Background checks, drug screenings, proof of immunizations/vaccinations, fingerprinting, and specific state or city licenses may be required.
• Must be able to operate a personal vehicle, company car, truck, or powered material handling equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
