
Account Executive – Field Based Sales, Nursing Education

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the UWorld Nursing division.
• Collaborate with the Team Leader to enhance institutional B2B business through proactive outreach.
• Secure bulk purchase agreements and institutional sales with universities and colleges in the designated territory.
• Generate new sales leads through cold calling, existing contacts, phone and email campaigns, trade show connections, and inbound website inquiries.
• Investigate the territory and identify key institutional decision-makers.
• Conduct high-impact meetings, on-site presentations, and sales demonstrations to finalize contracts.
• Attend conferences and trade shows to network and broaden market visibility.
• Project sales and formulate strategies for unexplored markets.
• Deliver webinar presentations to student audiences.
• Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly new-sales revenue targets.
• Oversee post-sale activities and onboarding for university and college partnerships.
• Retain and upsell to existing accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Customer Care to process quotes and complete contracts.
• Provide customer insights to Marketing and maintain up-to-date customer data.
• Keep detailed CRM records of sales activities.
• Engage in team meetings and initiatives aimed at improving sales performance.
• Direct qualified opportunities to the appropriate executives.
• Complete projects punctually while adhering to company standards.
• Pursue continuous personal and professional growth.
• Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of sales experience, with a focus on outbound prospecting.
• Demonstrated success as a "hunter" who identifies leads, converts prospects, and consistently surpasses new-business sales targets.
• Sales experience in the education or publishing sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
• Extensive background in generating top-of-funnel pipeline opportunities.
• Experience in qualifying sales opportunities.
• Strong time management skills.
• Prior experience with UWorld products is advantageous but not essential.
• High resilience, persistence, and self-motivation in driving new-business sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Comfortable and willing to engage in cold calling institutional clients.
• Proficient and persuasive in presenting to larger groups.
• Consultative problem-solving skills with the ability to develop customized customer solutions.
• Energetic, outgoing, competitive, and goal-driven.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a flexible, collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% within the designated New England territory.
