📋 Description

• The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for selling our software solutions to Enterprise-level businesses within the home service industry. This role involves sourcing new clients through outbound initiatives and participation in industry trade shows, as well as upselling to current customers. By taking on these responsibilities, the Enterprise AE will enable the VP of Sales to concentrate on strategic initiatives within the sales framework.

Responsibilities:

• - Account Management: Take ownership of a portfolio consisting of high-value accounts, focusing on identifying growth prospects, enhancing existing customer Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and ensuring overall client success.

• - Business Development: Execute outbound calls and emails aimed at generating new business while proactively seeking opportunities to acquire new customers.

• - Sales Strategy: Partner with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Marketing to create targeted strategies for engaging major pest control, lawn care, and HVAC companies, particularly those backed by private equity or operating as franchises.

• - Trade Show Engagement: Participate in relevant trade shows and industry events to network, generate leads, and foster enduring relationships with influential decision-makers.

• - Consultative Selling: Offer consultative sales expertise to assess client needs and provide customized solutions that deliver measurable value, enhancing technician efficiency and improving customer retention.

• - Pipeline Management: Sustain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and provide accurate forecasts utilizing Applause's CRM tools.

• - Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and enhance client satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• - Experience: A minimum of 5 years in enterprise sales, with proven success in closing deals with high-value accounts in the home services sector.

• - Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of operational challenges within technician-heavy industries (over 250 technicians), including franchise dynamics, private equity influences, and the specific business needs of large-scale service organizations.

• - Sales Acumen: Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles, negotiating contracts, and successfully closing six- and seven-figure deals.

• - Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, capable of articulating value propositions and building trust with senior decision-makers.

• - Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth startup atmosphere, with a readiness to take ownership and adapt to changing strategies.

• - Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

• - Technology: Familiarity with sales tools such as Hubspot, Apollo, LinkedIn, etc., is preferred but not required.
